Emily Gipson

Emily Gipson is an incoming Ph.D. student, working with Marc Frischer. Emily received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Central Florida and her master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is interested in zooplankton ecology and will study doliolids for her dissertation.

Graham Hardy is a rising junior at UGA, studying biology and planning on pursuing a Double Dawgs master’s degree in public health.

Graham is from Atlanta. He is working on the shrimp black gill project under Frischer and Megan Tomamichel.

“I’m very excited to learn about and research the disease as well as participate in the experiments on the shrimp,” he said. “I think it will be a fun and interesting summer, and I’m excited to be here!”
